I recently started getting smoke from under the hood. When I got home and opened it, it caught on fire, but thankfully, it went out quick. It appeared to be a recall I missed on the power steering hose.

If you got one of these accords, take it in for a repair.

 

Wow! Well, mine is a 2008 so I don't think it would have the same recall? Also, how badly damaged was the engine/hood?

 

I opened the hood and it caught on fire because it acquired oxygen. No damage was done to it though. The fire was quick and small but if I would've driven it a lot, it could have been worse. Yours is not on a recall.
