Im interested in installing HIDS on the headlights and fog lights but one of my friends that works at the Honda Dealer told me that he has seen other people try that and end up blowing a fuse, has anyone else had this problem or has heard this rumor?

 

welcome to the forum. I have heard of this happening, the answer I found was that during installation, the mech did not look at the higher amps the hid and fog lamps took and did not up grade the fuse amps to carry a higher amp fuse, also the mech had both hid and fog lamps to the same fuse. Needed to be separate.
