My mom has a 2000 Accord V6. Not sure what modle but its fully loaded leather bla bla. Her check engine light is on and she took it down to a mechanic who told her that the part that was causing this wasnt accualy broken and that Honda has put out a letter stating that if your check engine light comes on and your are told to replace that part to just bring it to the dealer and they will recalibrate the computer to fix the problem. She being a girl doesnt remember what part it was. I am wondering if anyone has heard of this and knows what the problem is. Her car isnt having any problems and she is the second owner so she might not have recieved the letter. Any help would be great

 

just call up the dealership that sells them. Ask about it there... They would give you all the information and more... These forums are pretty dead anyways.
