2001 Accord starter

Hey guys. Just wondering how difficult it will be to replace the starter in my 2001 Accord EX w/the 3.0L and an automatic transmission? I've got a friend who's very mechanical helping me, but we're looking to complete it in a parking lot. Thanks!

2001 Accord Starter

Let me know what happens - just replaced mine last night and now I am having an issue accelerating in first gear (automatic) but once it gets into second, it's no problem...

welcome to the forum. watched a diy on u tube, not very hard to change the starter.

Welcome in,fairly simple change,Onlyduck I'm not sure why your Trans is giving you problems but it has nothing to do with the starter. Sounds like a solenoid problem.
