2006 Accord seat fabric impossible to vaccuum
 

:( My Accord is great except for the awful black upholstery Honda used on the seats. This fabric is like a lint magnet, EVERYTHING sticks and is almost impossible to vaccuum off. I told the dealer about it after I bought it and showed them but they said there is nothing they can do. I'm not a picky person but this lint, hair, etc. looks so bad it detracts from ever having a nice-looking car. Someone said to spray static guard, it didn't work. Yesterday I spent $20 at for a professional car wash, it came back with the seats still looking very dirty. I asked them to re-vaccuum and when they did it, all the lint was still not removed, they said it was the best they could do. I have tried the most powerful vaccuums I can find and nothing works. I have friends with black fabric on other makes of cars and they are able to keep their car looking clean. This fabric should not have been used in a car. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas? So discouraging to have paid for a brand new car and it never looks nice. Thanks!

Aloha linstuf: Welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay. I have a 07 Fit that has black interior. I use a lint free roller. ( Sticky roll used for taking dog hair off the seats. ) Also use a lightly damp towel that does not have lint and wipe the dust/lint off the seats. Does not stain or mar the seat. (cheap)
