2007 honda accord Immobilizer
 
Hi Every one , I own 2007 Honda Accord 2.2 i-cdti sport ,

have a problem with immobiliser sometimes i can start the car just fine other time i get the flashing green key and not a chance to start , what can i do to fix that ? , i have the full immobiliser system with ecu and "the ring around ignition" and got the key with chip ,, the thing is its from 2004 honda accord , would it fit ? would i still need to reprogram something ? ,

Don't know the issue you are having ...
However, I have heard on other forums that the ring around the ignition (antenna) needs to be soldered to the connecting wires
It is suppose to make better connection and let the system work better.

welcome to the forum check the condition of the key fob. if the battery has corrosion or poor connection, the alarm sys will not clear you to start your car. i tap mine on my steering wheel lightly, then insert key and starts. at times if i don't tap the fob, the car will not start. if you have a 04 key/ fob, you still need to have it reprogramed to your car, including the car key.
