I have a 20009 Accord V6 that seems to be burning oil.

I had the oil changed less than 2000 miles ago and when I checked it this morning, the level was already below the bottom of the dipstick.

Is this normal? The dealer says this model can burn up to one quart per 1000 miles. I think this is BS.

 

welcome to the forum. no this is not normal. engines are not suppose to burn 1 qt per 1k miles. Ask your dealer to start a oil consumption check. advise him that is is not normal to burn 1qt per 1000miles and to fix it. call american honda and open up a complaint to get this fixed. There are many complaints of the high oil consumption on the 08-09 accords.
