2009 Honda Accord Buy and Brake Problem

Dealer is offering 2009 Honda accord LX at 16,4000
it has only 9000 miles

read lot of complains on the brakes ...

is it worth buying it..heard people had to change brakes at every 5,000 miles

What do you guys say..looks like it is non fixable problem right?

Please help me in deciding

shall I pay 16500 and live with the broken honda brakes..or is the probem

welcome to the forum. If I knew about the front brake problems, I just got finished reading 80 problems in the state of ca. on the car complaint forum. I would really think of getting a $16,400 car. I would pay 15,000 out the door if I really wanted it, and change the front brake rotor to Brenbow, with ceramic pads. this will last a long time and quiet. Or an aftermarket rotor with holes and slots for cooling and ceramic brake pads. Do some research before purchase.

Accord Rear Brakes needed yearly

I read alot of other people stating same issue of replacing rear brake pads, yearly. This may not be the answer but wanted to share in case helps someone else: Autoshop putting in new emergency break cable. today! Honda may have issue there(?). I was releasing the emergency break, light would go off, but breaks WERE NOT disengagIing. It has taken me 4 years of yearly new rear break pads for someone to listen to what I was saying when I would bring my car in, and NOT just think I’m a driver who uses both feet to drive and hit my brakes all the time. My car would have been under warrentee when it first started. Good Luck to all and will defiantly update one more time if this was not the fix (though Autoshop confirmed breaks did not disengage when they let Emergncy break back down)
