2016 Honda accord no power going to the fuel pump
I have a 2016 Honda accord Sport 4 Cylinder. Car is having trouble starting, it cranks but does not want to start. I removed the fresh air intake boot to the point where I can spray starting fluid in it and get the car to turn over. It stays on for a few seconds till the starting fluid drys up.
There is 2 fuel pumps in this car, I just replaced the high pressure fuel pump located on the engine. Car still dosnt start after replacing that. I then looked at live data on my obd2 scanner and fuel pressure was at 0 PSI no matter if I left the key in on or if I tried to crank it. I then observed the fuel pump and found that the harness is not getting power with my electrical tester. There are 4 wires on the harness to the fuel pump. One wire WAS getting a ground connection, but the other 3 was getting absolutely no power connection. Instantly thought I might have a bad fuse. Located fuse #9 under the steering wheel and that one was fine. I purchased a blue fuel pump relay from autozone and under the steering wheel there was only one original blue relay. I swapped that one out with the autozone one. I’m still getting no positive power to the pump while the key is in on position. Can one of you guys help me please !
