I have a 2017 Honda Accord that I just put 20’ rims on. The vehicle shakes when reaching speeds exceeding 55. Took it to the dealer and they said that they couldn’t align the vehicle and that my axle may need to be replaced to stop the shaking.

Anyone else had had this problem?

 

When you put on the 20 inch rims, did you have the wheels balanced?

Personally, never heard of the CV axle causing vibration but you never know.

 

I had the wheels balanced several times before taking it to the dealer. I plan to have it balanced again hopefully this will work
