I have a 88' acoord lxi auto. i changed all the motor mounts, got a new timing belts, changed all other belts, used exhaust system, new plugs and wires. Now, after all that and hundres later. when my car idles the car shakes dramatically, and when i go 50mph or more the car shakes. What is the problem ? my compression is good. i have a new distributer. i have put injector cleaner in, and nothing. can someone help ?

 

welcome to the forum, check all your vaccum lines for leaks, check the carb for proper mixture, (I think you have a carb ) easy way to check for vac leak, get engine starter fluid, don't spray around open fire or electircal sparks, it will light you up fast.

 

I have a fuel injected accord not carb. so that doesnt help

 

Did you get the timing checked? Also to rule out any other problems if you put it in neutral while its running does it shake less? If thats the case then I'd be looking a possible tranny issue.
