90 accord transmission prob 117k m
 

so these things happened simultaneously, the shifter locked up, so i have to put key in shift lock release slot to release it, pretty sure i need a new solenoid for that. but also the transmission stopped engaging in first gear and i have to manually shift the lever from drive to 2nd gear to get it to engage second, other wise it just stays in third, it does not engage first gear at all. it will not shift in to fourth gear either. before any of this happened i put it in drive and when i gave it a little throttle then i would feel it catch first gear. advice would be appreciated, really hoping the transmission isn't shot.
