92 Accord EX Timing Belt
Folks,
I'm having problems on replacing my Timing Belt. I can't remove the14mm Adjuster Nut (the nut immediately above the Crankshaft bolt). Honda of Columbia replaced my last Timing belt about 95K miles ago, and they put the thing on entirely too tight. It was so tight that the rubber seal behind it was totally squished out. The Adjustor Nut is totally stripped. What do you recommend?
I was able to get the Lower Timing Belt Cover off, but am not sure if I can replace the Lower Timing Belt cover with the Adjustor Nut still on.It is ungodly tight on a 92 Accord. Do Ijust drive on - and not worry about removing the Adjustor Nut? Is it possible to replace the Lower Timing Belt Cover with the Adjustor Nut still on? I really don't think there is enough wiggle room to do it. I would have been done in 4-5 hours if it wasn't for that freakin' Nut.
Thanks!
