92 engine in an 88?
 

can i fit a 1992 engine into a 88 accord lxi? Ive been having trouble getting the crankshaft pulley off and broken a couple tools doing so. Its not off and there is not a special tool to get it off easily. So either need to try something else or i would really like to put a 1992 engine into it. Ive tried a air impact and going to try an electric impact here soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The difference in the two engines is 2.0L on the 88 to 2.2L on the 1992
both fuel injected.
