95 4-door accord fixer-upper

Working on buying parts to get it up to snuff and looking good.
- so far items bought but not installed yet -
break master cylinder
timing belt kit
valave adjustment kit
rear struts
window deflectors
repair manual

What i know that it needs still, bushing and or seals on all suspention front and back.
A complete go thru on manitance check from front to back.
In the end i want it to be 99% reliable to go anywear with out worries. so any input would be welcome.

For the look i want a front lower airdam that looks better then stock.
maybe some nice rims but still run factory tires, so no 22's lol
maybe a proformance chip or what ever a 2.2 sohc takes
paint job, it's a stock goldish tan looking color right now.
upgrade the speakers

thats all i can think of right now. ""I'll post some pics later on""
so any thought and or ideas are welcome.

is there a good replacment antanna to get rid of the non-working power one?

So I have gotten side tracked a little. went to the armory to pick up some rounds for my 8mm mouser rifle and saw a sweet looking sks early 70's rifel.
ooooooo it similar to my 8mm but a lot cheaper on the rounds. 8mm about 1.00 each time you shoot one off, sks 7.62x39mm witch equals about 0.35 cents per shot.
so I think I might get back to working on my Honda next weekend. :) I got boxes of parts but I also got boxes of ammo too.......

I collect assault rifles and have three SKS rifles, love them, convert them to a 30 round clip, best move with these guns.

Thought about that but for this first one im sticking with the stock 10 round.
My biggest thing is i want a scope but i dont want to drill and tap into the rifle.
Im thinking about the scout mount that replaces the rear sights and mount ing reddot or something ofthat nature.

On my car im getting windsheld replaced today and getting it tented tomarow. I would like to get a dark brown tent just to be different.
I think im goingto paint it 2 tone. a metalic dark brown lower and light brown/tan on top. Similer to this style http://www.cardomain.com/ride/752393/2000-honda-accord/
Goingto see about getting a lower front air dam that i can install some led driving lights in. "ebay 45.00"

So I ordered head light and tail tint covers and I got all the glass tinted, it looks much better, but then the starter is going out so got 1 ordered aswell.
I guess this is a good time to replace the timing belt and adjust the valves and all that stuff too.
Any pointers on the replacement of the timing belt. I was reading in the repair manual this morn. and like most they tell u so much stuff that i lost in the steps.
I think at one point it said to take the tires off, pop the rear truck open, take off gas cap, remove spare tire and tune ther radio station to get the valve cover off?????

o freaking wow......................
What a pain in the freaking a$$ it is to replace the starter on my 95 accourd.
It took forever to get the thing out.
Remove batt., remove water inlet hose, remove air box top and intake pipe stuff, then you can see it.
From there you can barly get a ratchet wrench on the nut that holds the + wire on. 1/4 turns till it comes off.
Allmost the same way with the bolts, 1/4 to 1/3 turns till the finily come out. that is if you can get the socket in there to get to the back one.
1.5 hours later you got it out. "install in reverse" O yea, don't forget that ground wire that plugs into the back of the solenoid.
It is a pain in the butt to plug back in after you put it all back together and can"t fig. out why it wont start at 9:30 at night.
After you have busted your nuckels and custed out the ratchet wrench that is locked up that is now a basic wrench.

But it's all good now driving it today and happy..... :)

Side note:
Dont read the repair manual for info on how to replace the starter.
What is said in short.
remove + cable from batt.
disconnect + wire and ground clip from solenoid.
remove mounting bolts, install in reverse.

Sounds like removing the starter from my old chevy pickup......"wrong"
