Default 98 Accord EX Electrical Problems

All of a sudden without warning my 98 Accord EX won't start. Thought it was a bad battery but I can't jump start it and after charging the battery, still nothing. When I try to start the car, all the dash lights start to blink - most noticeably are the 4 door indicators. If I turn on the headlights, they don't come on but you hear a strange clicking noise under the glove box. Same thing with the parking lights.
The odd thing is that I can't get the car out of park to back it out of the garage and tow it to a mechanic. Pretty goofy stuff for a car that has never had any problems. Any clues as to what might be going on?

Aloha and welcome to the forum. Have you cleaned your battery terminals good, also check the main fuse under the hood and the connectors for security and being clean. ( check all the fuses while you are checking the main fuse.

Thanks - cleaned the battery terminals yesterday and charged the battery. Goofy stuff going on. Now the Key light comes on meaning that it is not recognizing any of my keys... and I can't get the car out of park to roll out of the driveway and tow to a dealer. Battery still seems to be draining. We just bought a new vehicle(not to replace theHonda of course) and I think the Accord is jealous .

Got my Honda to the dealer and found out that the positive cable was completely corroded and the negative was OK. Have to replace the positive cable and all will be OK. I guess I have to learn how to keep the terminals and cables clean.
