buckwheat let me tell u whats been done so far, the car belongs to my son so far he has cleaned out the throttle body, he said he removed the idle control valve neither made a difference. however i believe this iacv is a 2 part valve, mechanical and electrical am I correct?

does the car have a check engine light on ?? if so find out what code its throwing. you said he removed the iacv im assuming he cleaned it thoroughly ??? also try cleaning the EGR valve.
