Default Anyone here put a trailer hitch on a 2013 Accord Sedan?

I just picked up a new LX Sedan and I need a trailer hitch for my bike rack. The new ride has this nice lip under the bumper with the chrome strip, and I want to find out if anyone has installed a hitch, and if it requires cutting this? I've seen some of the videos for installing the hitches (and I did it on my 01 Accord), but I can't tell if they have this trim piece under the rear bumper.

The only thing we hated is no XM option for anything but the EX-L, and that just wasn't what we wanted.

BTW, we got the Champagne Frost color, and I really love it.

Understood, but before I buy, I just want to make sure I don't have to cut that trim from the bumper. It would be a pain to send it back

Hoping someone here has done it before on a 2013.

Try taking a look at the hitch mounted bike racks from ReeseHitches.com - if you have questions about the trim I'll bet they can help.

Take it to the Dealer, tell them your thinking of putting a hitch on and let them explain what needs to be done. That's what I did when I put one on my Subaru, I wound up letting them do it because of the cutting needed, it actually came out very nice.

search all the major companies because your car is so new your options will be limited. most of the major hitch companies are pretty up on there R&D if they weren't they wouldn't be on the top so like i said search them otherwise you mite have to wait a bit but i doubt it.
