My problem- I have a small (hopefully minor) issue with my 94 accords automatic transmission. When i move thegearselector from "P" to "R" it makes a really loud bangsoundlike someones dropped a bowling ball. When i put it back into park andinto reverse for the second timethebang might happen but it might not, it usually only occours when the car has been sitting for a while like after work and only happenswhen moved to reverse. noother gear.Could this have something to do with the shifter cable? any ideas will be helpful

 

Are you using the proper honda trans fluid, has the tansmission fluid been serviced at regular intervals.
