I just purchased a low-mileage 2009 Accord Coupe EX-L. Looks good and the bumper paint is not scratched or dinged.

My question is if there is any knowledge about after market trims that could be installed on the bumper to guard the edges of the bumper against dings from backing up or others doing the same? Not unlike door edge guards, just for the bumper?

 

Welcome to the forum. Ido t know of any bumper trim. But in aviation we use a tape called milar. It is a clear tape on a backing. Put on a surface to protect it from scratches. Bumps. You might check it out on the Internet to find some. Nascar uses it on their front windshield to peel off when the front layer get rock blasted from cars up front.
