cabin filter

Hey acmech, you have any idea where the cabin filter is on a 2000 accord? The manual says let Honda replace it,I don't see where it should be that hard to do If I can find it.:D

It's located behind the glove box. I would buy a chiltons manual for directions (lengthy directions).

agreed with xmechanic, empty glove box, with the box open, find a way to pull or push the sides inward ( upper fwd soft part of glove box) it will hang upside down and let you see the cabin filter container. some have a slide some have a clip cover to open. pull out filter and replace same. i got my filter from wallmart, napa, autozone, wix, even found some good ones in the salvage yard.... just lucky.

When I changed mine I put a dryer sheet in there as well, works as a prefilter and makes the car smell nice.
