Can you ID this part? Accord 2005 Fuel Pump assembly.
Can you ID this part? I was replacing my fuel filter on my 2005 Accord. Took the Assembly out of my gas tank and put it back in. Car ran fine. Found this on my work bench later. So I took the fuel pump assembly out again. I've been looking all over the Internet to find out where it goes.. Any idea?

It's frustrating. I have looked all over the fuel pump assembly and can't figure out where it fits. But I definitely remember it falling off prior to my removing the inside plastic assembly from the outer plastic assembly. (Those three plastic clips secure it.) I've watched several Youtube videos on the Fuel pump disassembly and I still haven't seen it.
