Clicking Sound on '09 Accord LX-P
 

I just purchased a new 2009 Accord LX-P last week and I've noticed that the first time I reach 30mph immediately after turning the car on, I hear a clicking sound (2 clicks). I immediately thought it could be the trans, but it doesn't seem to be happening during a gear shift. After the first time this happens, it never occurs during the remainder of the trip. I literally have to turn the car off for a while and then turn on and start driving again to replicate the sound. I called the dealership, but since the car only has 300 miles, the mechanic (who never heard of the problem) said to give a call again after the car is "broken in" more and hits 1000 miles. I've never owned a Honda before and am not car savy in the least, so I'm looking for any guidance I can get. Has anyone heard of this problem or have any idea what it could be? Thanks

welcome to the forum. Clicking could be from the relay(s) take notes when you have a situation you feel is not normal. Document what is heard or seen or felt. date, time, first run, mid run, end of run, cold, hot. This helps the tech more of where and what to look for. You have a good car, and should last you for 10yrs or more, and get 350k miles and up. take care of it, wash and polish, rotate tires ea 5k, and oil and filter per oil percent on your dash.
