Hey there...new here. I just got a 2018 2.0T Sport with a manual transmission. I've taken it on two short highway trips (one 3.5 hrs, and another 4 hrs), and on both occasions the Collision Mitigation Braking System has malfunctioned. This is annoying because it disabled cruise control. Only turning the car off and back on can I resume normal functioning. My question is, is this a known issue with these cars? Is there anything a service center can do to stop it from malfunctioning? Am I going to have to disable this system before every time I start the car up while I'm on a long drive?

 

Scan all systems for codes. Not just the PCM.
