Feel a jerk or 'hump' on acceleration (tranmission trouble?)

Right where it should probably be shifting into the next gear to go faster i get a hump or jerk feeling. Sometimes its soft sometimes it's not. Is it normal?

I have a feeling it may be my transmission. I think the transmission oil smells a bit burnt. How much does it cost to rebuild? Does the burnt smell even mean that?

have you tried changing the fluid a couple of times to fix the bump

Sometimes a fluid change makes a big difference in shifting,My Honda was shifting rough and a flush fixed that, good luck.

Swap your rear wheels to the front and the fronts to the back. See if that makes anydifference, if not then its not your wheels.

I literally just got that done the day before you posted. It made a BIG difference. However when shifting into drive it still feels pretty hard. I may just see about getting my mechanic to flush my transmission breaks and power steering. I did everything else already.
