flushing coolant

I have a 2000 4cyl. Accord and want to flush and replace hoses,do you have to bleed the air from the system afterward? also want to do a tune up what plugs do you guys recommend?:D

yes on the bleed of the coolant system. I use platinum, ngk or bosh, got 80k + miles on both type.

Is there a bleeder valve somewhere at the top of the motor?

acmech52 May 8, 2009 03:47 AM

it is located on the thermostate case. Go to hondaautomotiveparts.com and dial in your car, go to water pump sensor and you will see the picture and part and #12 called the breathing bolt. Funny name for a water bleed
