I want to get a third spare key for my sister in case she needs to drive it. I want to know how much usually the spare key cost and how long does it take to order one from the dealership.

 

i paid 100.00 to program the key, paid 45.00 for a valet key. regular key 85.00 for a honda fit. dealership.

 

that woul depend on what year your car is and if it has an immobiliser system or not. it cost me 50 dollars to have three keys programmed at my local dealer i believe they wanted 90 dollars to have a new key cut. without an *immobiliser it would cost 5 bucks at wallmart to have a spare key cut. i wouldn't order they blank key directly from the dealer you can find them online for alot less.
