Harmonic Balancer Same As Crank pulley?

Harmonic Balancer Same As Crank pulley?
I purchased a Harmonic balancer on E bay for my 1990 accord es. Two questions. Is a harmonic bal. the same as a crank pulley. And the one I purchased is splined with a key way slot.I think mine on the car is smooth shaft,will it fit?
