Help... Does the Accord REALLY need the major milestone recommended service?
I am thinking about buying a used 2013 Honda Accord Sport.
The seller is a private party and claims to have all service records including regular oil changes. There are 90,000 miles on the car.
QUESTION
Do you think the lack of fluid and coolant changes is a potential problem? Details below...
Q: Where did you take the care for it's major service intervals, e.g. at 30k and 60k miles?
A: There were no major services done. I've always considered those services nothing more than dealer nonsense to charge you for things the vehicle doesn't need
Q: If you never did any of the major recommended maintenance aside from oil changes, have you ever replaced the following items: engine coolant, transmission fluid, spark plugs, brake fluid?
A: None of those have been replaced yet
Thank you very much

The 2013 Accord youre looking at uses the "maintenance minder system" which doesnt follow a traditional 30/ 60/ 90k major service interval. GO here:
