Interference valves on 96 accord

Anyone know if 96 four cylindar had interference valves? Obviously considering timing belt job for one that broke.

your honda has interference valves, yes if your engine died at a high rpm there would be possible damage. after changing the timing belt, rotate the engine at the crank pully slowly to see if any valve has dropped, if after rotating several times through and not sudden stoppage, take a compression check.
