Low Mileage 2016 Accord Battery Drains/Dead
For the second time, I let my 2016 Accord EX-L ( purchased 1/2016 and now with only 5500 miles) sit idle for several weeks, only to find when I go to drive it that the battery is dead ! I mean like there is no battery installed...DEAD ! Is this simply a thing that I have to be aware of and drive the car more often or disconnect the battery when not being driven. Is it just some electronic circuit/feature that is always "awake" and working on my behalf that can't be turned off ?

you have a problem with the car, under warranty, take it to the dealer to get it fixed. and document what is happening in writing incase you may have to take it up with American Honda.
