Mysterious static from speakers
My 2016 Accord EX Coupe with approx. 104,000 miles is one of the best cars I have ever owned. However, beginning a couple of months ago, increasingly loud static comes through my speakers even when the audio system is turned off! The noise makes it very difficult to concentrate and impossible to make or receive phone calls unless I pull off of the road and shut the engine off, using the phone without going through Bluetooth. I have read on other forums that this can only be fixed by replacing the "head unit".... usually at a cost of over $1000.00. Seriously? C'mon Honda.... you can do better.

Call car stereo company such as Crutchfield and asked them about replacement. You might find something cheaper??

is the chip or fuse inside the head unit. If you look on eBay “factoryradios” radio repair shop that can fix the issues. I have 2017 accord same issues and it has been fixed. You only need to send them the module and remove from the screen. The repair cost about 350 including your shipping and they have fast turn around time. They also have very good reviews from other accord owners.
