P0740 1997 Honda Accord V6 ?
 

94-97 Honda Accord v6 model in regards to the P0740 fault code? The transmission seems to shift just fine. The only indication anything is wrong is the code keeps reappearing. Let me tell you what ive tried so far. Ive changed the T fluid 4 times, replaced the transmission computer, pulled off and cleaned the screens to the lock up solenoid, replaced the thermostat, tested the continuity of the wires between the solenoid and the wire harness plug in. It all checks out fine and yet the code still returns ! Ive attached some pics of the obd2 data . It seems after some research that there have been a few accords out there with a similar issue. Anyway my last resort is to change the transmission out. Have ever come across this before? any input is greatly appreciated.

welcome to the forum. just wondering what type of transfluid are you using? if you are using anything other than Honda transmission fluid, you may have the code.
