Spool Valve? VVT Solenoid?
 

Ok, so I have a 2009 Honda Accord V6 3.5L
My mechanic is telling me that I need a new "Spool Valve"
It is apparently leaking oil/fluid onto the alternator
Everyone I've talked to has no idea what this is.
All I have found this term related to is a Variable Valve Timing Solenoid or a VTEC Solenoid. What do I need to buy? Best place to buy? Any suggestions? What does this part do? HELP.
