I have yet another problem with the tranny, I first posted about what happend to it any now know its shot so I took the next step and took it outta the car for repair, I then put in on the work bench and knowing it's a split case tranny I then then took out all the bell housing bolts and anything else standing in my way. it's now split but only two inches but it's stuck any wont fully come apart. Whats the deal? I know the gears at the passenger side of the tranny aren't stopping it from fully splitting, so what am I missing? any ideas?
