What to do, what to do ?

I have a 2011 honda accord lx. I've brought it to honda - who said my abs modulator is failing. I was having break problems - couldn't pay what honda wanted - and went elsewhere. I've had nothing but problems since. I ended up spending close to 2,000 in other repairs for the car .. and now have a brake booster that makes a hissing noise when the pedal is pressed. What is the next course of action .. do I try to find someone to fix it - or should i trade it in and get something newer. The car only had 125,000 miles.

'swelcome to the forum. have the booster replaced. have to ask yourself, is spending 2000 more or less than purchase of a new car. or is the payments less in 5 years than to repair the older car. i say if you know nothing about cars then purchase a new car and no problems for the first 5 years (usually) after the 7th year it will again need parts to replace. if you feel that the cheapest car to have is the one you owe nothing on and only maintenance repairs then be debt free.

I know how it feels to own a car that has never ending problems
It seems you spend more money on the repairs than on a new car.
But, of course that was over time. Car just kept breaking down.
Engine was great but everything else was failing.
Locked up brakes due to master cylinder
Intermittent no crank, no start.
Replaced all four struts and shocks
both front CV axles. Tie rod ends
And both lower control arms
Right side wheel bearing twice. Guess the replacement wasn't up to quality.
Then, the final straw was all the rust on the rear frame support.
If I had to do it all over again then definitely would go the newer car route.
I don't buy new cars. Can't afford them. So, buy used.
