02 Civic motor swap options
 

right now i have an 02 Civic LX 2dr with what i believe is a bad motor, b17a1 (knocking noise). im wanting to do a motor swap, but i have some questions that some of you guys could hopefully answer for me: 1. what motors can i drop in it? im talking about bolting it right in. 2. im currently looking at a jdm k20a3, and want to know if i can drop it in, but also what is involved with a motor swap. what computer will i need, if at all? wiring harness?... 3. i also want to know the difficulty of a motor swap if i find a motor i can drop right in. i can work on cars pretty well, but i have never done anything at this magnitude.
