Default 1991 Honda Civic SI

I recently just came across a '91 Civic SI. Having a few troubles going on with it. I've found no codes with it. I have to charge the battery every time I want to start it up and when I take it on a test drive, whenever I push in the clutch and hit the brakes to stop, the vehicle turns the engine off. Is there a parasitic draw that I should try to be chasing since I have to charge it to start it? And what else should I be looking for for the vehicle dying in mid test drive? Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. (And before you ask, the battery is fairly new and I also just replaced the alternator yesterday because it had needed one)

Welcome to the forum. Did you have the battery load tested. Also have you checked the voltage output on the new alternator should be approx 14 volts running
