I'm not sure if this was a problem, but my mom told me the meter on the right of the 0 rises quickly when not pressing the gas.

From this picture, I'm talking about the right meter on the 0. I don't know what my mom did, but the meter rises to like 10-20 quickly and drops quickly as well.

 

Are you talking about RPM's?

 

I'm not sure what its call, but its the meter next to the zero from the picture.

 

That's the miles per gallon estimator gauge. It increases when going according to the speed limit or below but decreases the faster you drive.
