Unhappy 2013 Civic Loose Steering After Hitting Pothole

I just recently leased a 2013 Honda Civic LX. After hitting a pothole, I noticed that the steering became a little bit looser, so I took it to the dealership, but the mechanic said that there's nothing wrong with the tire alignment, even though it is noticeable looser. What should I do?

I would check the rack and pinion. My 98 got super tight after hydroplaning into a wall. got the rack and pinion replaced and the shop didn't seat the bottom pinion bolt correctly. Hit a pot hole and a bolt snapped off and I had a few inches of play before the steering started to tighten up.

yeah the reason i say get a second opinion is because alot of honda dealers and dealers in general are shady and im assuming your under warranty im also assuming you had the car checked buy the dealer you bought the car from correct ???. trust me i worked for the biggest toyota dealer in my state and you wouldn't believe what ive seen.

Oh yeah? I'm curious. Could you please tell me more about what you saw going on at the Toyota dealership where you worked?
