89 honda civic lx idle problem

I have an 89 civic with an idle problem was told its more than likely the stepper motor if so how would I go about having this prob repaired?

welcome to the forum. 1st thing to save a lot of money and good advice, get a factory service manual or anything close to it, clean out the idle cut air control. make sure the vac lines to it are clean.
