91 Civic Reverse Grind
 

I have a 91 Civic Coupe Manual. All gears are working good and the clutch seems fine although when I put it into reverse either slowly or fast it grinds pretty badly. What could be the problem?

Well you should be able to get it in but i know that on alot of honda's it is a pain some times and doesnt seem to go in or goes in but seems to grind but try to go forward first then pull it in reverse and slowly let the clutch out, if your new to honda youl eventually get the hang of it

yeah pretty much all hondas have difficult reverse. i have a '91 also but it never grinds i do have a new clutch but it is sometimes hard to get in, all i have to do is let out the clutch a small bit and it slips right in
