94 civic revs but gears wont catch
 

just bought a 94 civic ex. Nice lookin body and everything and sounds good but the damn thing takes FOREVER to get up to speed. It just revs and finally half ass catches and goes....slowly. any advice? clutch plate or tranny problems/solutions??

welcome to the forum. if standard, it could be your clutch pressure plate springs worn or clutch plate all worn out. If automatic, check fluid, how many miles does your car have.
