its a 95 civic dx 2 dr with no options outside power brakes and stereo lol, no ac no powersteering etc..

so 2 days ago i was driving and i was in fourth gear at about 45 and the motor started to bog down rapidly, i down shifted to 3rd and then to second but by the time i was in 2nd it had died, it'll turn over but i wont start, the fuel pump sounds like its pressurizing the system when its turned on, any ideas??

check timing belt, check distributor for spark and at the plugs, pressure at the fuel rail.
