Default 97Civic SOHC won't run with load on engine

I've got a 97Civic LX SOHC. I was driving it coming to a stop when the enginestarted running rough. It ran rough leaving the stop until reaching second gear and ran fine till coming to another stop when it died and wouldn't start again. Since then the car cranks fine but is reluctant to start. When it does it runs fine aand revs up in park . When put into drive it will idle with a slight miss every few seconds. When you put a load on the engine it will rev up then begin to cut out and die if you don't get out of the gas. The fuel pump, filter are new. The, distributer, coil, plaugs, wires are all recent and seem to be fine. I've eliminated the TPS, catalytic converter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors, and vacuum leaks as the problem. I'm baffled and would appreciate any help or ideas.

Try doing a compression test on the cylinder
