98 Civic Drivers Door Stuck
 

My door on the passengers side is stuck. I cant open it from the inside or out. I got the door panel off. It's tough to see how to release the hook thats latched on.

I went to the passenger side to get an idea but it's very tricky cause of everything thats in the way of the latch.

The door will not open if I pull on the rods from the outside handle or inside handle. It seems that the rods have broken off the latch and I'm guessing it's prob a spring.

Any ideas would be much appreciated because doing the Dukes Of Hazzard thing doesent look as cool as it did in the 70s.

Welcome to the forum,Just going by what you said about something sounding broken,You will have to remove the door panel from the inside,tricky but possible then look at the rod to the lock i would think its come off. Most have plastic connectors and one may have broken.Good luck,Bobby :D
