98 civic ex wont start
I was doing a compression test on the car and went to start it afterwards and it kept trying to crank over but wouldnt start.
All the ignition wires are attached in the right order on the d. cap and cylinders. I had all 4 spark plugs out at the same time when I was performing the compression test on one cylinder at a time. Any clues why my car wouldn't start afterwards?

RE: 98 civic ex wont start
My car was overheating so I was checking the compression in the cylinders for a leaky head gasket. I looked up the test in the Haynes manual just now and realized I didn't disable the fuel system by removing the PGM-FI main relay fuse.
All I did was unplug the ignition wires from the the spark plugs and removed all the plugs at the same time. I attached the tester to each cylinder and cranked the engine about ten times for each cylinder. I installed the plugs and the wires are in the right order but now the car wont start.
