accord engine in civic
 

is there a civic that the engine from an 89 accord would fit in. the accord motor is the a20a1, not very popular. any help???:confused:

welcome to the forum.. the motor you are talking about should in any civic its either way with a motor swap you are going to have to rebuild mounts and redo the wiring harness. but yes it will fit with a little work.

ok thanks, i found an 89 civic shell, i just didnt know if the motor would physically fit in the engine bay
