Civic bumper detached, will this cost a lot to fix?
Hello,
I have a 2007 Honda Civic LX. At first the far right side of the bumper became undone and for a while I could sort of pop it back in and it would stay for a bit. On closer inspection, it seemed like one of the plastic rings that held it onto the side had ripped? Long story short, today the bumper got caught on a parking block and tore the other side of the bumper off. Now, it's main attachment to the car is at the center grill. Here are a few photos. You can click on the thumbnails to enlarge: http://s8.postimage.org/li6v75q0h/honda_right.jpg http://s8.postimage.org/g81wfv5rl/honda_center.jpg http://s8.postimage.org/7r2e4y12p/honda_left.jpg I know nothing about cars and I feel like this is something I could fix on my own if I did. Does anyone know how much something like this would cost at a body shop? And what it would entail to fix it? Thanks again and my apologies if this is really stupid! |
Well before the thing was torn a large washer could have fixed the problem.Sorry

if your installing it yourself then you don't need a body shop. they sell painted bumpers on ebay for around $250-$300 such as this http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-08-Hond...0305ae&vxp=mtr you failed to mention if its a two or four door car so i looked up two door search ebay yourself.
