civic timing
was wondering if when checkin or adjusting the ign timing do you have to jump the terminals under the dash, i can't find them told they were on pass side near ecu. but i ask because i recently bought a 94 civic dx and the previous owner put new water pump, timing belt, tensioner. and the car was makin a poppin sound at idle. so put on new spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ign coil and fuel filter, didn't help, so i check the timing(w/o jumpin the ecu wire) and it was way off to the right so i took it to the shop and had them take belt off and make the timing marks are right. it still popped at idle so i checked it again i checked it again and it's still off to the right a bit, don't think they moved the dizz. so could i move it without jumpin the wires
